There are important concepts like, American Dream, War, Bush Admin. , world, World Trade Centers, etc... that you should think about before looking for answers. The arguments should be present in both the essay and the documentary. Three arguments should be enough for this assignment.

Compare and contrast; “Conspiracy Irak” and “Waking up from the American Dream”

America is a huge country, know best for his monetary power, army and control. All most all people see it has the great land of success. But, in 2001, US was attack. These attack provoke the nation and they decided to go to war against the supposedly attackers, Irak. Supposedly it was an anti-terrorism war, but do people of the US actually believe that? these is one of the main points in the documentary “Conspiracy Irak”. Those this war have any effects on the idea of the American Dream?; these is one of the points, point out in the essay, “Waking up from the American Dream”, both, in one way or another try to portray the consequences and results of what I called, the bid mistake of the US, the Irak war.

The war begun first, because of the president of the US, Bush and his administration, they were the ones that plan and took action to invade and sabotage the Irak country. The cause of the war and all the consequences that have arrived with it, are because of him and his administration. In both, the documentary and the essay, we could see a huge blame of what is happening, to the way Bush and his administration have worked all of it. People also, thanks to the way they have handle the problem, have stop believing in the government, these is causing the decrease in the believe of the American Dream. All most all the people that gave their opinion in the documentary and in the essay do not believe in what the government is telling them. These is causing the lack of trust in the nation. If the same people do not believe in their government and in the way that the administration is handling everything, how can we expect that other people from other nations believe in the US, in the American Dream? If we do not have a strong nation we do not have trust there is no American Dream, because the American dream is actually worked by the foreigners coming to the US to make profit for a better life. If they do not trust, how do we keep up the American dream alive?

I strongly believe that yes, people are still migrating to the US, but if you see the people migrating are normally people from the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Mexico, and countries were the conditions of life are really miserable. These people do not have another choice but to go to the US because at least there they are going to have a little more than they had in their country. I believe that the American Dream is going to still up if we continue to have these pour miserable third worlds countries. Because the people not matter how bad US is are still going to see it superior to their country. But lest look know at the countries were economy is good. Do you see know a lot of Europeans migrating to the US? I believe you do not, because Europe is getting on top, little by little on the US.

These reasons show that the essay and the documentary are strictly related. We have a documentary, work by the point of view of a foreigner from London, were he states that all the causes and the reasons why people have stop trusting the US is because of the bad handling f information, the bad tactics war. How can you believe it is an anti-terrorism war were the first thing that they did when arriving to Irak, was to take over the petroleum stations? In the other hand we have the London writer who lives in the US and establishes that people are stopping to believe in the American Dream because of the war and the lack of trust from the people toward their government. Well of course, how can you believe in a nation where their people do not trust it? Strong nation and American Dream go hand with hand. If the nation starts falling the American Dream starts falling to. (Still we have the exception I mention earlier). Finally, the American Dream and the trust of the nation is also linked to economical power, which the US is losing little by little, thanks to this horrendous war!!

Compare and contrast; “Conspiracy Irak” and “Waking up from the American Dream”

I think that both have many things in common like the loss of trust in the USA. In the “Conspiracy Irak” one of the main points is that the people do not trust in what the government said and in “Waking up…” the same point it’s used; people don’t trust in the excuses used for do the war. Also the persons in both are sure that the real motivations of USA for make war or to maintain the “American Dream” are economical. Other thing is that both are seeking for the public opinion of USA and its situation. One difference is that in “Waking up …” is used the world’s perspective about USA and in “Conspiracy…” is used the perspective of American citizens.

Compare and contrast: "Conspiracy: Iraq War" and essay: "Waking up from the American Dream"

They both are practically the same in the point in which they talk about the government and Bush, and what this sudden crisis is heading American into. I believe that the American Dream is something no one can change for so it is called a dream but since war began people as seen in the video of the Iraqui war, dont believe in what the government is telling them because it doesnt take a genious to know that something is wrong when people from the government, specially the preseident G. Bush, says that they have only invaded that country because they "have" evidence that they have nuclear weaponry and that America is in great danger when until now they haven't found anything.
Also, the essay clearly states that because of this situation some people have changed their thought on the so called American Dream since because of war they have lost trust in that nation.
At the end, they both talk about the lost of trust in that nation, what war is causing to the world and economical power in which its not so hard to understand that maybe petroleum is the key to invading that sountry and looking for trouble in that neighborhood.

Compare and contrast; “Conspiracy Irak” and “Waking up from the American Dream”

The USA promote the American Dream to the world as the correct type or style of life to live. In “Conspiracy Irak” and “Waking up from the American Dream” we can see that what the USA was telling to the world was just lies because they dont said it all. They dont tell you that they offer you that type of life at the price of rob "black gold" the petroleum, make war, kill people, destroy families and tell people how to live.

How “Conspiracy Irak" said and all the intelligent people know is that they use as excuse the attack of the "World Trade Center" to take Irak petroleum and dominate Irak. Before you think that USA are everytime the good guys you have to see both sides of the story. Here I'm not telling that Irak is correct or USA what I'm telling is that you have to recollect a lot of information before you judge one or other side.

People had to know that Bush and his family are propietaries of some texas sources of petroleum. He is doing this not for the country, it is fro himself. If he gain control of the competency petroleum he will have not rival selling his product.

People from different parts of the world think that the United States of America is one of the most powerful nations. I think that’s because USA try to show a little lack of “interest” on the most horrible and poor places around the world. They do that not because of interest for the people who live there; they are interested only in economic purposes. The “Conspiracy Iraq" is all about a big vengeance against the terrorism that affected so much the states. But don’t stay there, you have to think that Bush is so intelligent, he forces the war not only for revenge, he and his family are interested always in green papers and in special black liquid, petroleum. Waking up from the American Dream is another big topic that hits many citizens, specially the ones from the communisms countries. Think about a Cuban trying to survive in a place in which he have to fight against his liberty and then when he finally reach an American territory, he starts to live the American dream, where he can do whatever he wants with no restrictions.

The main point presented in the documentary "Conspiracy Iraq" is why did US went to war with Iraq? During the documentary that question was answer, every one had a different opinion. Some of the answers were, control over the oil in Iraq, to protect the american dollar, to gain global suppremacy, but nobodies believes that they went to war because of the attack to the twin towers. Like Bush and his administration is telling that the war in Iraq was anti-terrorism.

"Conspiracy Iraq" and "Waking up from the American Dream" has alot of thing in common. Both of them question Bush and his administration. That the US someday is going to fall from the top and no longer is going to be a world empire. This is what is making the American Dream banish, because people don't trust anymore in US.

Compare and contrast documentary "Conspiracy: Iraq War" and essay "Waking up from the American Dream"

The documentary "Conspiracy: Iraq War" and the essay "Waking up from the American Dream" are both taking about the loss that Bush is having because of a war that he wanted to have for no good reason and the lost of trust that they are having from the people. The president of the US says that in Iraq there were nuclear bombs and to save the country they have to fight against terrorism. American people have lost their trust in the government because all the problems that the nation is facing due to their acts. The American Dream will loose little by little its magic if the government doesn’t start to fix the mess that they made. The essay "Waking up from the American Dream" says something true, that the US is loosing its power. The Euro worth more than the US dollar. We all know that the information that is given from US of what is happening and about the war is what is better for the government. This people hide many things that occur just because it is not for their benefit to public them.

Compare and Contrast; "Conspiracy Irak" and "Waking up from the American Dream"

I believe both articles are very similar in the way they express about the current crisis of America and the war. "Conspiracy Irak" is more from a generel perspective and point of view, on the other hand the essay, is more of a personal concern on where the American dream is heading. They are both based on facts and citizens opinions, but the essay has a slight touch of opinion and reaction of the author, towards the problem in the US. I also think that they had the same purpose, to show the people what is behind the scenes of the war and the behind the media, that only shows what is best for them and not both sides of the story like it should be. It is undeniable that Us is loosing trust from other countries and its own people. Bush administration may be heading the wrong path, if its true that they used the terrorist attack on september 11 as an excuse to invade iraki territory just to put their hands on the petroleum, to obtain a higher economical control. If you come to think of it, its not so hard to believe that these Us actions are more directed for power than for justice, if you notice that throughout history Us has always been involved in conflicts and aquiring more power afterwards.

Compare and contrast; “Conspiracy Irak” and “Waking up from the American Dream”

In the documentary “Conspiracies: Iraq War” we are presented with the situation of the real purpose of war. Is it a war against anti terrorism, or is it a search for economical power and petroleum? Up to the moment we have no proof that what G. Bush said about having evidence that Iraq had nuclear weapons was true. So we would have to ask ourselves, what the main reason of this war is. If we consider the essay “Waking up for the American dream” we observe that many people have lost faith in the American government due to the reasons presented in the documentary “Conspiracies: Iraq War”. In both (the documentary and the essay) we can see that there seems to be an agreement as to the fact that there is a struggle not against anti-terrorism but rather to obtain economical power. There is also a negative attitude towards G. Bush and his government from all perspectives. Among the differences between the articles we find that in the documentary the opinions of American citizens are considered whereas in the essay we receive the views of citizens of other nations. These show certain loathing for the United States but some still wish to follow the American dream. After 9/11 some solidarity from countries across the globe was observed but this was momentarily. Some say that the 9/11 caused the war and that Bush used the attack as an excuse to begin war, while others think that although it was an awful experience it served to bring America closer to other nations. The author of the essay “Waking up from the American dream” mentions that even powerful nations sometimes end up standing alone.
